A very informative read. The statistics provided show the alarming need to shift towards more sustainable resources. While from a environmental stand point it is important for companies, with the ESG framework kicking in in various countries, it would be prudent for fashion companies to reduce their water footprint and move towards sustainable fashion.

Amazing amazing thread. I wonder what’s the solution with so many clothing brands available all around the world.

Maybe we should go more local with our clothing choices or maybe legislation should be made on restricting these practises by companies. After all what would we lose if we stopped too much mass production of clothes? Just a few businessmen losing profits? Well if it can save water and nature maybe it’ll be worth it.
